What we store about you, and how you can remove it
This is the first version of our privacy policy.
My Demonlist keeps as little about you as it can. This page says what is stored and how you can export or delete it.
What is stored
When you sign in with Discord, the site stores:
- Your Discord user ID, so it can recognize you the next time you sign in.
- Your Discord display name and avatar. They are updated each time you sign in.
- The username you choose for your public page, and who can see your list (public, unlisted or private).
- Your list: the levels you add, your completion details, every comparison you answer and the history of changes.
The site asks Discord only for your basic profile. It cannot see your email address, your servers or your messages.
If you use the site without an account, your list is stored only in your browser, with nothing being sent to us. A sign-in cookie is set only when you sign in, and is removed when you sign out.
Analytics
Visits are counted through Umami, a privacy-preserving analytics tool that we host ourselves. It uses no cookies and does not track you across sites. It records pages visited, the referring site, and your browser and country, without anything that identifies you.
Your data
- Export: in Settings, select Export Data to download your full list with its history.
- Reset: in Settings, Reset list deletes all levels and history, but keeps your account.
- Delete: in Settings, Delete account permanently removes your account, your list and all of its history.
A guest list can be removed by clearing this site's data in your browser.
